SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University Men's Diving claims victory and Tiger Women's Diving takes a loss against the University of Texas - Permian Basin.
The Tiger women took a loss in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives this weekend against UTPB. In the 1-meter,
Brooklyn Fuscone (Hoffman Estates, Illinois / Hoffman Estates) would take first overall with a score of 226.55.
Alexana Heinrich (Lubbock, Texas / Lubbock) would come in sixth with a score of 166.40 and
Kara Moss (Houston, Texas / Stratford) would come in seventh with a score of 142.70. As a team, the Tigers would score 535.65 points to UTPB's 815.65 points.
For their 3-meter event, the Tigers would score 568.20 overall points and UTPB would score 871.35 total points. Fuscone would put in a score of 246.50 and a third-place finish while Heinrich would finish in sixth with a score of 165.40. Moss would round out the field bringing in a score of 156.30 and seventh place.
The Tiger men would take wins in both diving heights by a combined score of 1,655.05 - 1526.10. In the 3-meter dive, the Tigers would score 818.65 points.
Konstantine Partalas would come in second with a score of 314.90 and
Max Rolla-Mullis (Ann Arbor, Michigan / Pioneer) would place fourth with a score of 200.75.
Ash Meckel (Austin, Texas / The Griffin School) would bring in a score of 158.45 and
Garrett Guillet (San Antonio, Texas / Churchill) would score 144.55 points.
In the final event of the evening, the men would score 836.40 points in the 1-meter dive. Partalas would claim gold in the event with a dive worth 310.50 points. Rolla-Mullis tacked on 205.05 points to the total score while Meckel and Guillet would score 165.60 and 154.35 points, respectively.
