Tigers Capture SIxth Straight SCAC Title; Shuflit Wins Individual Race

Led by first-time individual champion Will Shuflit, the Colorado College men's cross country team captured its sixth consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title Saturday morning in Shreveport, La.

The Tigers captured five of the top nine individual spots and eight runners finished in the top 14 to earn all-conference honors.

Colorado College finished with 24 points, followed by Trinity University with 51 and Southwestern University with 78. CC is the first team to win six straight team titles since DePauw won seven from 2000-06.

Junior Axel Klomprens finished third in 25:24.10 to earn his first all-SCAC accolade, followed by freshman Vincent Mangat in fourth with a time of 25:32.52.
