GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's Golf competed in Bash at the Bend tournament on Monday and Tuesday, October 21st-22nd in Many, Louisiana. The Pirates shot team scores of 303 & 307 for this 36-hole event, where they finished in 1st place out of 8 to end their 2024 season.
The Pirates were led by senior Matthew Peesker who fired rounds of 74, 73 (+3) where he finished in 1st place individually. Behind him with a 4th place finish was sophomore Ricky Mitchell who shot rounds of 78, 74 (+8). Next in 5th place was senior Bryce Stiemert who finished with rounds of 72, 81 (+9), after him was freshman William Suell who shot 82, 79 (+17) putting him in 16th place. Finishing in 26th place was junior Ethan Bridges with rounds of 79, 85 (+20), following him was sophomore Sam McClure who finished in 35th place shooting 80, 90 (+26). Rounding out the Pirates was freshman Tyler Rosson, he finished in 46th place after carding rounds of 90, 85 (+31).
