HOUSTON – McMurry competed well on the first day of St. Thomas's Fall Splash Quad Meet on Friday.
 
McMurry and St. Thomas were joined by Southwestern and NCAA Division I UT-Rio Grand Valley.
 
The War Hawks won two women's and two men's events on Friday.
 
Maddy Rohrer won the 500 free in 5:36.41 and the 200 free in 2:06.27.
 
Elijah Trevino won the men's one-meter diving with 192.6 points.
 
Wes Scalf won the men's 50 freestyle in 49.18 seconds.
