The Colorado College women's swimming and diving team fell to Trinity University in a competitive 124-100 contest inside Schlessman Natatorium on Saturday. The Tigers won five individual events and had eight second-place finishes.
 
Diving hosted two one-meter events on Saturday. Keller Pooley had another strong day on the board, winning one of the multiple one-meter diving events. In the six-dive event, Pooley recorded a winning score of 242.47. In the five-dive event, she earned second place with a score of 164.78, behind teammate Emma Krasemann, who scored 172.73 points.
 
In the pool, freshman Alyssa Tungal recorded the most points for the Tigers with a win in the 200-yard fly (2:13.70), a third-place finish in the 400-yard IM (5:03.23) and a second-place team finish in the 400-yard medley relay. Alexis Lee, Isabella Cole and Adeline Turner were also a part of the relay team.
 
Megan Simonson and Sarah Buchman tied for the title of fastest sprinter in the pool on Saturday with a 50-free time of 25.41.
 
To close the meet, the Tigers finished second in the 400-free relay with a team of Buchman, Gina Lych, Turner and Simonson.
 
"It was exciting to see our swimmers and divers really step up today against a great team again today," head coach Anne Goodman James said. "Our goal was to close the gap on yesterday's score, and we cut that in half. Our freshmen have been real difference makers so far."
 
CC will be back at Schlessman Natatorium on October 27 to host Southwestern University in another SCAC dual weekend.
