Marshall, TX - Willamette volleyball dropped both matches on the final day of matches hosted by East Texas Baptist University.  The Bearcats faced the host school in the opening match of the day, falling 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.  In the second match, they squared off against their third Texas school of the weekend, losing to St. Thomas 25-11, 25-22, 25-23.

For the day, the Bearcats were led in kills by Katey Cramer with 12 and Kaitlyn Westby with 10.  Dream Takemoto had 25 digs and Leina Chu led the way with 38 assists.  For her overall performance throughout the weekend, first-year Leina Chu was named to the All-Tournament team.

The Bearcats will host their alumni for a match next Saturday, September 14th, and begin Northwest Conference play at home vs Lewis & Clark College on Tuesday, September 17th, at 7:00 pm.
