Women's Cross Country Opens 2024 Season In Memphis

THE BASICS
The Eagles opened the 2024 cross country running season with a 12th place finish at the Memphis Twilight XC Classic in Tennessee on Saturday night. Race time was at 9:30 p.m. and the Eagles competed against eight NCAA Division I teams. The first runner to cross the line for the Eagles was Chloe Weathers. She ran a 19:53.92 for 34th place and was the second overall non-NCAA Division I runner to finish. Macy Weathers followed with a time of 22:41.33 for 86th place. Savannah Williams ran a 23:21.17 for 91st place. Ella Thompson followed with a time of 23:49.04 for 94th place. Kjersta Lybbert was 98th with a time of 24:39.15.
