Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team lost a pair of meets against McMurry University over the weekend in Texas.

The Eagles lost Friday night 115-39 and then were defeated 137-33 on Saturday.

On Friday, the Eagles were third in the 400 medley relay swimming a 4:13.25. In the 500 free, Ethan Spillers was second with a time of 5:27.08. In the 200 breaststroke, Tyler Young was fourth with a time of 2:49.25. Tyler Hamrick won the 200 back with a time of 2:15.77. Nathan Jennings was fourth with a time of 2:28.75. Alan Ramirez was fifth with a time of 2:32.11. In the 100 free, Jack Lopez was second with a time of 53.03. Logan Basham was fifth with a time of 1:04.55. Spillers won the 200 fly with a time of 2:10.25. In the 200 IM, Jennings placed fourth swimming a 2:32.22. Lopez was fifth with a time of 2:25.22 and Young was 2:36.90. The Eagles were third in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:47.36. 

On Saturday, the Eagles were third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:02.18. Spillers was third in the 400 IM with a time of 4:45.44. In the 200 free, Jennings was third with a time of 2:05.62. Tyler Hamrick was fourth with a time of 2:06.04 and Ramirez was sixth with a time of 2:23.65. In the 50 free, Lopez placed second with a time of 24.14 and Young was fifth with a time of 27.57. Spillers won the 100 fly with a time of 57.30. In the 100 back, Hamrick was fourth with a time of 1:04.71 and Ramirez was fifth with a time of 1:09.44. In the 100 breaststroke, Young was fourth with a time of 1:17.23. Jennings placed fourth in the 1000 free swimming a 11:59.72. The Eagles placed third in the 400 free relay posting a time of 3:51.08.

The Eagles will head to Mississippi for the Delta State Fall Invite November 22-24.
