The Colorado College men's swimming and diving team opened the Jen Buffin era and the 2024-25 season with an exciting, 151.5 – 146.5 victory over SCAC-foe Trinity University Friday night in San Antonio, Texas.

Freshman Andrew Colgan led the way for CC, winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke races and joining senior Caleb Peimann and freshmen Sam Allen and Liam McCarthy on the victorious 400 medley relay team.

McCarthy took home an individual win of his own, capturing the 50 freestyle race, while senior Jack Hussin won the 100 freestyle race.

In diving, senior Aidan Richter finished first in the 1-meter and second in the 3-meter competition, while sophomore Wyatt Wellehan won the 3-meter and was the runner up in the 1-meter.

"We competed hard tonight," said Buffin. "Everyone contributed to the success today."
