Centenary Tops Men's Swim

Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim team dropped a 217-90 dual against Centenary College over the weekend. 

In the 400 medley relay, the Eagles placed second overall. In the 500 free, Nathan Jennings was fifth with a time of 5:52.24. Tyler Hamrick won the 200 back with a time of 2:16.45. Alan Ramirez was fifth with a time of 2:32.43. Ethan Spillers won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:20.02. Tyler Young was sixth with a time of 2:49.03 and Scott Harrison was seventh with a time of 3:02.85. In the 100 free, Jack Lopez was third with a time of 53.62. Hamrick was sixth with a time of 57.47 and Harrison was seventh with a time of 58.79. In the 200 fly, Young was fourth with a time of 2:40.62. Spillers won the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.36. Lopez was sixth with a time of 2:24.92 and Jennings was seventh with a time of 2:27.09. The Eagles placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.78. The Eagles also placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.97. Spillers won the 400 IM with a time of 4:40.79. In the 200 free, Hamrick placed fourth swimming a 2:03.71. Jennings was sixth with a time of 2:09.41. In the 50 free, Lopez placed third swimming a 24.47. Logan Basham was sixth with a time of 28.18. In the 100 fly, Lopez was fifth with a time of 1:03.31 and Basham was sixth with a time of 1:13.93. In the 100 back, Hamrick was third with a time of 1:02.27. Ramirez was sixth with a time of 1:08.92. Spillers won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.99. Young was fifth with a time of 1:16.40 and Harrison was seventh with a time of 1:26.02. In the 1650 free, Jennings placed third with a time of 20:49.07. The Eagles were second in the 400 free relay posting a time of 4:11.26.

The Eagles will next compete at the McMurry University dual November 8-9 in Abilene, Texas.
