JOE THIGPEN OF
BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a 6-2, 220-pound
sophomore quarter back from Crestview, Fla. has been named the SCAC
Football Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday,
November 8.
Thigpen was directly responsible for five of
the Panthers' six touchdowns on Saturday, going 9-of-15 with 157
passing yards and two touchdowns, and rushing for 94 yards on 12
carries with three touchdowns.
