LV SUMLER OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a senior guard from Flora, Miss., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, November 15 through Sunday, November 21.

Sumler averaged a double-double with 13.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game to go along with two assists per game, 2.5 steals per game and a two-to-one assist to turnover ratio in two wins during the week. He just under 40 percent from three-point range.

Against Pensacola Christian, Sumler scored 13 points on 4 of 10 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds. Five of his 13 rebounds were offensive rebounds while over half (eight) of his 15 total rebounds during the week came on the offensive side of the ball.
