RYAN SEVER OF
DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a senior forward/center from
Kalamazoo, Mich., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, February 7 through Sunday, February
13.
Sever averaged 19.5 points and eight rebounds per
game in a pair of SCAC home wins over Oglethorpe and Sewanee. He
scored a career-high 26 points and tied a career-high with 11
rebounds in DePauw’s 84-70 win over Sewanee Sunday afternoon.
He was 10-of-12 from the floor and made his first nine shots
against Sewanee.
He scored 13 points and tallied five rebounds in a 74-70 win
over Oglethorpe. In the two games, Sever shot a
sizzling 78.9 percent (15-of-19) from the floor.
Through 23 games, Sever is now averaging 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
