ROSS
DAVIDSON OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS,
a senior forward/center from Dana Point, Calif., has been selected
the SCAC Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played
from Monday, January 13th through Sunday, January 19th.
Davidson averaged 23.0 points, 6.0
rebounds and 2.0 blocks while leading the Crusaders to a 1-1 record
on the road.
Davidson scored a game high 30 points
on 11-of-20 shooting including 3-of-6 from behind the arch and
5-of-6 from the free throw line to lead the Crusaders to a 67-57
win over Texas Lutheran.
The following night against
Schreiner, Davidson scored
16 points on 6-of-14 shooting and 3-of-3 from teh free throw line
to go with nine rebound and three blocks in a 72-62
loss.
Davidson shot 17-of-34 from the field
(50%), 4-of-8 from behind the arch, and 8-of-9 at the charity
stripe. It is his second 30 point performance as he scored 34 on
December 5th against Arlington Baptist. Davidson’s two 30
point games ranks as second and third in individual scoring in a
game this season.
