LUKE CALDARERA OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Katy, Texas, has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, December 1 through Sunday, December 7.

Caldarera led Trinity to a pair of SCAC wins on the road during the week including victories over Colorado College (73-59) and Austin College (74-62).

Caldarera averaged a double-double, averaging 22 points and 12.5 rebounds per game during the week. He also connected on 60 percent from the field (15-25) and led the team in scoring and rebounding in both games.
