SCAC Men's Lacrosse Recap - Week Eight

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- In the last weekend of competition prior to the conference tournament, Centenary College picked up an 18-8 victory at the University of Dallas.

The 18 goals scored by the Gents (2-9) set a new program-high water mark. The victory completed a season sweep over Dallas after previously defeating the Crusaders at home, 7-4, on March 7. Centenary's Jordan Cook finished the day with a team-high five goals and added an assist. Mark Temple scored four and had an assist, and John Mark Waniewski recorded the hat trick and had two assists. Kyle Comi and Jacob Miller each finished with two goals and Comi had a team-high three assists.

Centenary goalkeeper Thomas Siskron played all 60 minutes and collected 16 saves and now has 176 saves on the season. Sophomore Ethan Little led the way with nine ground balls.

Dallas' Austin Gibbons led the Crusaders with four goals.

In the league's only other match of the weekend, Colorado College dropped 1 23-8 decision to fifth-ranked Lynchburg. Elliot Nelson had a team-high three goals for the Tigers, who dropped to 10-3 overall with the loss.
