ANDREW MARYOTT OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior from East Dennis, Mass., has been named the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28.
Maryott placed second in the discus at the Rhodes Invitational with a throw of 155'5". The distance was not only a new personal record, but it also met the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III National Championships.
Maryott currently ranks 10th in the country in the event.
