MAX GERKEN OF
COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Castle Rock, Colo.,
has been selected the SCAC Men's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for
meets conducted from Monday, March 21 through Sunday, March 27.
Gerken took first in the Fort Hays Alex Francis
Classic with a time of 9:37.8 in the 3,000 steeplechase which
currently ranks him 1st in the SCAC for the event and 13th in the
nation. It was also a PR as his previous best time was 10:02 for
the event. Colorado College was the only Division III school at
this meet.
