QUIN GATTEY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman from Portland, Oregon, has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets held Monday, February 29th through Sunday March 6th.
Gattey competed at the Willamette Track Invitational in Salem, Oregon on Saturday and ran season outdoor bests of 11.80 in the 100 meters (7th) , 23:81 in the 200 meters, (7th) and 51.80 in the 400 meters (7th). The meet consisted of a mix of NCAA Division III schools, NCAA Division II and open club teams.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Ryan Pace of Southwestern University ran in his first 110 hurdle race and placed 4th at the Marc Randle Classic.
