JOSEPH KILMER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Rockville, Md., has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday March 4th.
Kilmer tied his 5k personal record set during the cross country season with a time of 16:39 at the Marc Randle Classic this weekend.
In the event, Kilmer finished ninth overall in a field of 32.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Michael Gorman of Colorado College ran a conference leading time of 50.59 seconds in the 400m at the Willamette Opener last weekend. Junior Blair Walker of Trinity University won the 200m at the Trinity Dual in a time of 22.63 seconds in his first ever outdoor 200.
