CHRYS JONES OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Harrodsburg, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 22.

In his first outdoor meet of the season, Jones finished first place out of 30 triple jumpers at the Rhodes Open in Memphis, Tenn. which was filled with many NCAA Division I jumpers. His jump of 14.97m (49'1.5") is an automatic NCAA Division III national qualifying mark. Jones is currently ranked #1 in the nation in the triple jump in Division III.
