KALLI DOUMA OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior goalkeeper from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for matches played Thursday, September 1st through Monday, September 4th.
Douma led the fifth-ranked Tigers to a 2-1-0 record to start the 2017 season, highlighted by Monday's home-opening shutout over Sul Ross State University.
Douma finished the holiday weekend with 12 saves in just over 240 minutes of action. In a double-overtime loss at Christopher Newport, she collected a career-high eight saves in more than 105 minutes, then followed that with four more saves in a 2-1 win at Virginia Wesleyan the next day.

Junior defender Grace Auth of Austin College had a strong opening weekend, anchoring a 'Roo defense that earned a shutout victory over McMurry on Sunday afternoon.
