NICOLE WENDSCHLAG OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior defender from Lexington Ky., has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 8 through Sunday, September 14.

In its game against No. 6 Wittenberg University, Centre allowed only three shots on goal, and Wendschlag was certainly a contributing factor to this accomplishment.

Wendschlag also contributed on the offensive side of the ball by scoring the tying goal in the 80th minute of play. The match would end deadlocked at 1-1 after two scoreless overtime periods.
