COLLEEN MAGGARD OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Paris, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, November 16 through Sunday, November 22.
The Colonels participated in the Western Kentucky Invite on Friday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 22, where Centre was the only Division III school to participate.
Maggard achieved the first national swimming cut of the year in the 100 backstroke on day two of the Western Kentucky Invite after swimming a 59.07. She is also currently ranked third in the nation in the 100 backstroke.
On the final day of the WKU Invite, Maggard finished third in the women's 50 yard freestyle completing the race in 24.79. She also finished fifth in the women's 100 yard freestyle with a time of 53.87.
