DANIELLE FREUND OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Kennewick, Wa., has been selected the SCAC Women's Diver of the Week for all meets through Sunday, October 19th.
All-American Danielle Freund got her season off to a great start with a 247.80 point 3-meter win against tough completion from her own team-mates and a talented team of NCAA Division I Incarnate Word Cardinals. She was runner-up on the 1-meter event, scoring 217.65 points.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC
Sophomore Margaux McCartney of Austin College won the 1m (169.60) & 3m (157.50) diving events during Friday's meet at McMurry.
