REHGAN HARTSELL OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Georgetown, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, November 19th.
Hartsell won three events at the Trinity Invitational this past weekend, recording a pair of NCAA B-cuts and one SCAC open record.
Hartsell added her name to the SCAC record books with her 100 breaststroke performance, finishing the race in 1:03.63. This comes in .29 second faster than the former record, which was set in 2011 by Catie Baker of Depauw University.
During the invitational, Hartsell also won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:09.71 and the 200 breast (2:19.85). Her swim in the 200 breast was an NCAA B-Cut.
Hartsell also led off the 400 free relay posting a 54.52 split and was integral in all team relays.
