KATE BRUSH OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Greenwich, Conn., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Co-Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 13 to Sunday, January 19.
At the Colorado College Classic this past weekend, Brush led the team with three individual wins and two relay wins. In the six-team invitational, Brush took titles in the 200 fly, 100 back, 500 free, and was second in the 100 fly. She was part of the winning 800 free and 400 free relays.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Kaylin Swoboda of Centenary had a superb day on Saturday in the Ladies' final home meet of the season against Austin College. She won the 200 IM with a season-best time of 2:18.83, and also claimed the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.74. She also led off the 200 Free relay with a 27.24 in helping the Ladies relay team capture the victory with a time of 1:48.30.
