CLARE
MYERS OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior from
Grosse Pointe, Mich., has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross
Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, August
30th.
Myers started her senior season in third
place, as she pulled away from most of the field to finish with a
time of 19:37.
The Crusader women as a team placed second at the Texas Wesleyan University Ram Rumble.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Emily
Boujemaa of Southwestern University was
more than a minute better than second place finisher Savannah De La
Rosa of Concordia with a time of 21:13.86. Freshman Melissa Whitman of Trinity
University finished 10th overall and third among
non-Division I runners in her first collegiate cross country
meet.
