LOLLY PLUMMER
OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a first-year runner from Lake
Charles La., has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country
Runner-of-the-Week for meets run Friday, September 19 and Saturday,
September 20.
Plummer clocked a school record 17:53.7 to finish
in ninth place at the Missouri Southern
Stampede. Plummer fought her way through the
DI/DII field after being 32nd at the mile mark to finish as the top
freshmen in the field.
Hendrix was the only D3 school in the field but finished 14th out
of 34 teams on the course that hosted the D2 National Championships
last year.
