Located in the county seat of suburban Williamson County, Georgetown has a population of 47,400 and lays claim to possessing the "Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas." Southwestern University, the oldest university in Texas, was founded in 1840 and is located in Georgetown about one-half mile from the historic square.
The Robertson Center provides more than 95,000 square-feet of comprehensive recreational and athletic facilities. It also houses the competition gym where the Southwestern men’s and women’s basketball teams and volleyball teams compete, a practice gym, weight room, indoor track/workout facility, athlete and public locker rooms and the Wazel Natatorium. Admission to the 2015 SCAC Volleyball Tournament is free of charge.
