Cleburne is the third Johnson County seat, on the Chisholm Trail branded 1867; Re-established daily. The rich historic past is celebrated with the Santa Fe railroad, the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum, and the Carnegie Library building built in 1905 that houses the Layland Museum of History. For outdoor activities enjoy the Cleburne State Park, 18-hole Cleburne Golf Links overlooking Lake Pat Cleburne, or just simply take a splash at the Splash Station Waterpark.
The Depot at Cleburne Station is a state-of-the-art multi-use Stadium. Located at the Gateway to Cleburne at the intersection of highway 67 and Nolan River Road. The stadium is part of a complex including a mixed-use development with restaurant and retail outlets. The multi-use facility hosts events year-round including youth sports, concerts, 5k fun runs, car shows, soccer, civic events and special seasonal entertainment.
