SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Fifth-seeded Schreiner University
picked up its first postseason win in program history, defeating
fourth-seeded Austin College, 75-63, in the second quarterfinal of
the 2014 SCAC Women's Basketball Tournament. Box Score | Official

Postgame Interview
Senior guard Bailey Harris led the way for the Mountaineers with
21 points and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe.
Sophomore guard Kelsie Jackson had 18 points and eight rebounds and
junior forward Lindsey Peterson posted a double-double of 15 points
and 11 rebounds.
With the victory, Schreiner advances its program-best win total to
15 (against 11 losses) and will face top-seeded Texas Lutheran in
tomorrow's first women's semifinal game. Tip-off for that contest
is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT and will also be played on the campus of
Trinity University.
For Austin College, junior guard Christina Kime had 16 points to
lead the way. First-year forward Kendall Heitmeir came off the
bench to score 15 points and senior guard/forward Erin Riley
chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.
The 'Roos ends their season with a mark of 14-11.
