ADDISON ENGLISH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Keller, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Character & Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending September 26, 2010.

English, a member of the mens' cross country team and an Economics and Psychology major, has been actively on Southwestern University's campus in a variety of venues. 

English is a member of the Southwestern Gives Class Council, Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Pi Kappa Alpha where he serves as President and Alumni Relations Chair among other leadership roles. He is currently the President of SAAC and is championing a petition for official University recognition for the committee that has been in existence for five years.

English is also a Resident Assistant, overseeing the safety and well-being of 50 students and spearheaded the design for the Pirate Bike Fundraiser t-shirt, a wildly successful venture for the program.
