JENNIFER KOLLER OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore defender from Woodbury, Conn., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 5 through Sunday, September 11.

Koller anchored the defense as the Warriors went 3-0 during their trip to Virginia this week. On Thursday, she helped limit Eastern Mennonite to just nine shots, including none in overtime, as the Warriors won 2-1 in extra time. Koller recorded a defensive save and shut down Bridgewater’s offense, holding the Eagles to just six shots on goal in a 2-1 win.

On Sunday, Koller and the Warrior defense held Swet Briar to just three shots and three penalty corners, en route to a 7-0 victory.
