ADAM PETERSON OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Baytown, Texas, is named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Peterson earned an individual win at the Schreiner Spring Shootout this week, posting a 36-hole score of 137 (-7). This win marks the second tournament-title of his career.
Through the first 18 holes, Peterson posted a 65 (-7). This gave him a four-stroke lead heading into the second day of competition. Peterson remained on-par Tuesday to help the Bulldogs move into a fourth place finish.
Peterson and the Bulldogs will travel next to North Texas to compete in the University of Texas-Dallas Invitational.
