PADEN WILLIAMS OF SOUTHWESTERN
UNIVERSITY, a junior
from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Track
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, March 9th.
Williams opened the Pirates outdoor
season with a strong showing at the Tarleton Relays last
weekend.
Williams ran a tim eof 1:59.21 in his
first run of the season in the 800, placing him first in the SCAC
Performance List early in the
season. Williams also
played a key role in the Pirates 4x400 team.
