JOEY QUINTERO OF
SOUTHWESTERN
UNIVERSITY, a junior
from Karnes, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Field
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, March 23rd.
Quintero led the Pirates' men's throwing
team at the Texas A&M Kingsville Cactus Cup Invitational on
Saturday.
Quintero's marks of 10.75m in the shot, 34.95m in the discus, 31.00m in teh hammer and 36.11m in the javelin led the Pirates to a seventh place finish.
