Rhodes' Moore Becomes SCAC Career Home Run Leader

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Junior Rebekah Moore hit a 3-run home run in the first inning of Sunday's second game against Millsaps over the left centerfield wall, giving her 21 career home runs and making her the all-time leader in the SCAC. Box Score

Moore homered in game one to tie Laura Hufnagle, Center '08, with 20 career home runs. In addition to the SCAC and Rhodes career record, Moore also holds the Rhodes single-season record, when she belted nine round-trippers during her freshman season. Rebekah followed up her nine homers as a freshman with five dingers last year as a sophomore, and currently has seven home runs this season.

Moore is a two-time All-SCAC performer at catcher, and has started 97 games in her career.
