Georgetown, Texas
Located in the county seat of suburban Williamson County, Georgetown has a population of 67,176 and lays claim to possessing the "Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas." Georgetown is known as the "Red Poppy" Capital of Texas for the red poppy wildflowers planted throughout the city. Georgetown's Red Poppy Festival, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually, is held in April each year on the historic square.
Taylor-Sanders Field
Taylor-Sanders Field has been the home to Southwestern softball since the program's inception in 2009. The field was originally built in 2000 and served the campus as an intramural softball field before upgrades were made to the field to bring it up to NCAA specifications. In the summer of 2022, Taylor-Sanders field received renovations and updates to both the home and visitor dugouts as well as the addition of new branding to all aspects of the facility.
