SOPHIA HERNANDEZ OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a sophomore pitcher/infielder from Irving, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 10th through Sunday, February 16th.

Hernandez had a huge weekend at the plate, going 6-for-8 with five RBI, five runs scored, a double, and two triples in a pair of games against Huston-Tillotson.

Hernandez came through huge in game two to earn a split. Hernandez went 4-for-5 from the plate with four RBIs and three runs scored including two triples. 

Additionally, she entered in the sixth inning and shut down her opponent, allowing only one hit and striking out one to earn a save.
