REBECA BERRETH OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore shortstop from Pearland, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week for games played Monday, February 22ns through Sunday February 28th. 

Berreth led Trinity to a 3-1 record last week, splitting a home doubleheader with Concordia, then sweeping Staten Island on Sunday afternoon.

Berreth hit .643 (9-14) for the week, scoring four runs and driving in seven more. She had five doubles among her nine hits, boosting her slugging percentage to 1.000. She started the week with a 6-9 performance in a split against Concordia, picking up three doubles in the team's split.

Berreth's final game was a 3-3 day that included a pair of two-run doubles in Trinity's 12-0 victory.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior outfielder Allison Kotlar of Dallas picked up four hits, with two in each game of the Lady Crusaders' doubleheader sweep on Sunday. Senior third baseman Heather Hummel of Teas Lutheran homered twice and drove in six in TLU's four-game sweep of Austin College.
