CHELSEA LEEDER OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, sophomore forward from Nacogdoches, Texas, has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, November 14 through Sunday, November 20.

Leeder averaged 28 points in two games this week as the Pirates went 2-0 to open the season. While averaging 34.5 minutes per game she shot 66.7% from the floor (20-30) 57.1% from three point range (8-14) and 72.7% from the free throw line (8-14). Leeder was also team leader in assists (10) and blocks (2), tied for second in steals (3) and recorded six rebounds.
