YOSHIMURA OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior
guard from Temple City, Calif., has been named SCAC Women’s
Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, November 12
through Sunday, November 18.
Yoshimura guided the Crusaders to a 2-0 record at
the David Wells Classic in California.
Yoshimura averaged 15 points per, 8.5 assists per
game and 4.0 rebounds per game in two games for Dallas.
Against Pomona-Pitzer, Yoshimura scored 13 points
on 5 of 13 shooting to go along with 11 assists. She also added
four rebounds and three steals in a 67-62 win.
Against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Yoshimura
scored 17 points on 5 of 15 shooting to go along with six assists.
She also added two steals in the 59-55 win. She also became
Dallas’ career assists leader with her six assists in the
win.
