JESSICA VARNER OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a junior from Baton Rouge, La., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through September 19.
Varner brushed aside the field to win her third collegiate tournament - and second consecutive, winning the SCAC Championships in 2017 - at the Louisiana College Invite. She fired tournament-low rounds both days of 74, finishing the tournament with a total of 148 (+4).
