EMILY BACHERT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a freshman from Bowling Green, Ky., has been named SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, March 29.
Bachert shot 81 to medal at dual match against St. Olaf College at the Mounds Course at Jekyll Island on March 26th. The next lowest score was 84 at the wind blown event.
Bachert's 81 was needed as her teammates struggled in the wind and tied the match at 350. Bachert is a freshman from Bowling Green, Ky and currently leads all Division III eligible players in the GolfStat Cup.
