EMILY JORGENS
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a
junior midfielder from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC
Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from
Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1.
Jorgens led Trinity to wins over Luther and Puget
Sound to open the 2013 season, scoring a total of eight points for
the Tigers.
Jorgens recorded her second career hat trick in
Friday's season opener, knocking in three goals to go with two
assists – including the eventual game winner for the
Tigers.
