ERIN ROSE OF
TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman goalkeeper
from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s
Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday,
September 23 through Sunday, September 29.
Rose tallied her third shutout of the season in
Texas Lutheran’s 1-0 overtime win over Dallas. She made three
saves on the day. It was the first shutout of the year in which
Rose recorded a save.
For the season, Rose is leading the SCAC in
shutouts per game with .33 and is fifth in the SCAC for saves per
game with 5.11.
