HELEN HERES OF
AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior midfielder from Allen,
Texas has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 13
through Sunday, October 19.
Heres was instrumental in the ‘Roos two big
wins over Centre and DePauw over the weekend, both 1-0 victories.
Heres scored on a 40 yard free kick in the 72nd
minute to lift the ’Roos past Centre and then assisted on the
game winner against DePauw.
Heres leads the ‘Roos in goals, assists, and
points. With the assist over the weekend Heres now
moves into a tie for ninth in the SCAC for assists.
