LINDSAY HAGMANN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Baton Rouge, La., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 22nd.
Hagmann led Trinity in the tri-meet against NCAA Division II members Rollins College and Saint Leo University over the weekend.
Hagmann won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:57.26, and finished runner-up in the 100 free with quick 53.13. Hagmann also contributed in two Trinity relays, posting a breaststroke split of 31.7 seconds in the 200 medley relay, and helping the Tigers to a record time of 3:40.11 in the 400 free relay.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Jio Chang of Colorado College took second in the 200 butterfly, third in the 100 fly and was a member of the 800 free relay that set a new Colorado College pool record. Sophomore Samantha Rao of Southwestern University placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.43 and third in the 100 free with a time of 56.46 over the weekend.
