EMMA FREY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Kingwood, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 20 to Sunday, January 26.

Frey placed first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.05 and earned a second-place finish in the 50 free with a time of 25.55 as the Southwestern women defeated UT-Permian Basin in a home dual meet on Saturday. She also contributed to the Pirates' first-place finish in the 800 free relay as the team touched first with a finishing time of 8:14.49.
